Principe Valiente from Stockholm, formed back in 2005, released a 4-track EP in 2007 which received great reviews and was widely played by DJ:s and on radio shows across Europe and North America. They soon became known for their solid live shows. Principe Valiente's debut album has a darker pop sound and it may be the result of elements inspired by certain post punk- and shoegaze acts, but is primarily characterized by an ambition to break new sonic ground. Songs like “One More Time” and “New Life” are hypnotic and powerful and the album features the successful singles 'The Night' and 'In My Arms'. The band is already working on new songs on the demo level and is aiming to release their next album in 2013.
